Job summary

Premier Pump & Power in Vancouver, WA, is seeking a detail-oriented Welder I to perform MIG welding on small parts and assemble pump packages with precision. You will read weld prints, set up components, and use shop equipment, reporting to the Production Manager.

This full-time role requires 2+ years of welding experience, 18+ years old, and AWS certification may substitute for experience. Emphasis on safety, 5S, and physical work; benefits include 401k matching, vacation, and holidays.

Qualifications

• MIG welding (GMAW) proficiency required.
• 2+ years welding experience; AWS cert may substitute.
• Able to read blueprints and basic technical docs.
• Safety PPE and shop safety knowledge required.
• Familiarity with TIG or MMA is a plus.

Responsibilities

• MIG weld small parts, crossmembers, and plate steel.
• Read weld prints and technical drawings.
• Set up components per specifications.
• Align components using calipers and clamps.
• Test and inspect welded surfaces.
• Operate Band saw, Drill Press, Pallet Jack, Hand Truck.
• Maintain a clean, safe workstation per 5S standards.
