Job summary

O'Neal Manufacturing Services in Cedar Falls, IA is seeking a MIG Welder I for the 2nd shift (Mon-Thu 3:30pm–2:00am, OT as needed). You will fabricate, join, and repair steel components using gas metal arc welding techniques and equipment.

The role requires reading and interpreting blueprints, ensuring weld quality, and maintaining a safe work area. Prior welding experience or apprenticeship preferred.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Must pass MIG Welder certification.
• Ability to read blueprints.
• Attention to safety and quality.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Weld, join, and repair metal components using MIG welding techniques.
• Interpret blueprints, specifications, diagrams, or schematics to determine welding processes.
• Inspect completed welds for structural soundness and quality.
• Set up and operate welding equipment and/or robotic devices as needed.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area; perform other duties as assigned.
