O’Neal Manufacturing Services is seeking a MIG Welder I for our second shift on-site in Fayette, AL. You will fabricate, join, and repair steel components using MIG welding techniques while following safety and quality programs.

The role requires reading simple blueprints, operating hand tools, and maintaining certifications. Our team values reliability, attention to detail, and commitment to producing high-quality work.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience through apprenticeship or vocational training preferred.
• Must pass MIG Welder certification and maintain it.
• Strong attention to detail and basic critical thinking.
• Ability to operate forklifts and cranes; maintain related certifications.
• Reads and interprets blueprints and specifications.
• Proficient with hand tools and measuring instruments.
• Able to convert measurements (fractions/decimals, metric/imperial).
• Produces high-quality work.
• Able to set up and operate processing machines.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate, join, and repair steel components.
• Interpret blueprints and diagrams to determine welding process.
• Inspect welds for structural soundness.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area and follow safety policies.
• Operate welding equipment and robotic devices as needed.
• Complete apprenticeship or formal training as required.
