Job summary

IMKO is seeking experienced MIG Welders to join our heavy manufacturing team in Le Mars, IA. You will weld all types of materials, read engineering drawings and weld symbols, set up semi-automatic welding equipment, and perform quality welds in a loud, physically demanding environment.

Typical schedule is Mon–Thu 6 am–4:30 pm, Fri 6 am–3:30 pm, Sat 6 am–12 noon. Starting pay is $21.50 per hour, paid weekly on Fridays.

Qualifications

• Mig welding of various materials and components.
• Read blueprints and weld symbols; understand WPS.
• Set up and operate semi-automatic welding equipment.
• Maintain a safe, clean work area and operate forklifts/cranes as needed.

Responsibilities

• Welds components by using MIG welding and related equipment.
• Fabricates and assembles parts according to drawings.
• Uses measuring tools to ensure weld accuracy.
• Reads blueprints and welding symbols; follows WPS.
• Operates forklifts, jib cranes and other material handling equipment.
