Job summary

Energy Jobline CVL is recruiting an experienced MIG Welder Fabricator for a busy manufacturing site in Kidderminster. You will weld mild steel to high standards, read engineering drawings, and fabricate components from plans to tight tolerances.

A strong focus on quality, safety and meeting production deadlines is essential. You will work in a busy workshop with overtime opportunities, overtime pay, and a lodge allowance as part of the package.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a MIG Welder Fabricator required.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Competent using fabrication tools and workshop equipment.
• Own air-fed welding mask is essential.
• Own safety boots and standard PPE.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• MIG welding mild steel to a high standard.
• Fabricating components from engineering drawings.
• Measuring, marking out, cutting and assembling fabricated steelwork.
• Using workshop machinery and fabrication equipment safely.
• Inspecting completed work to ensure it meets quality standards.
• Working both independently and as part of a fabrication team.
• Maintaining a clean, safe and organised working environment.
