Express Employment Professionals - Cincinnati East seeks an experienced MIG Welder for the 2nd shift to join a manufacturing team. The candidate will weld on steel and other metals, read blueprints, set up equipment, and ensure quality welds while adhering to safety standards.

The role requires at least 1 year of MIG welding experience, ability to use tools and measuring devices, and a strong eye for detail.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of MIG welding experience.
• Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and measuring equipment.
• Blueprint and welding diagram reading skills preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship.
• Knowledge of welding safety practices.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Must be able to wear required PPE.

Responsibilities

• Perform MIG welding on steel and other metal components.
• Read and follow blueprints, work orders, drawings, and welding symbols.
• Set up and safely operate welding equipment.
• Inspect completed welds for quality and accuracy.
• Use measuring tools to verify dimensions and tolerances.
• Grind, clean, and prepare materials before and after welding.
• Assist with basic fabrication and assembly as needed.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Follow all safety policies and procedures.
• Work with team members to meet production goals.
