You will read blueprints, use fixtures and measuring tools, and ensure welds meet structural and cosmetic requirements while maintaining safety and productivity in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 2+ years MIG welding experience in a manufacturing or fabrication environment.
• Able to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
• Experience welding sheet metal and enclosure assemblies.

Responsibilities

• Perform MIG welding on steel and stainless-steel enclosures and components.
• Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and fabrication drawings.
• Assemble enclosure parts using fixtures, clamps, and measuring tools.
• Inspect welds for quality, accuracy, and compliance with specifications.
• Grind, clean, and finish welded surfaces as required.
• Operate welding equipment, hand tools, grinders, and fabrication machinery safely.
• Verify dimensions and tolerances using measuring instruments.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area following safety procedures.
• Collaborate with production and quality teams to meet manufacturing schedules.
• Perform routine equipment maintenance and report any issues
