Job Requirements

Location: Milwaukee, WI

Shift: 2nd Shift (Monday-Thursday, 4PM - 2:30AM)

Company: Global Power Components is a privately held, growing manufacturer of UL heavy gauge steel fuel tanks, trailers, large generator enclosures, and modular metal enclosures for electrical distribution and control equipment.

Responsibilities:

• Welding I-Beam Frame and Fuel Tanks in flat/vertical overhead positions.
• Handling sheet metal ranging from 10 gauge up to 1 inch thick.
• Clamping, holding, tack-welding, grinding, or bolting components to achieve required configurations.
• Positioning and securing workpieces using hoists, cranes, wire, banding machines, or hand tools.

Requirements:

• Ability to read measuring devices and blueprints.
• GMAW (MIG/MAG) welding experience preferred.
• Ability to troubleshoot and problem-solve.
• Highly motivated with good communication skills.
• Attention to detail and a drive to succeed.
• Must pass competency tests and a pre-employment physical, including drug screening.
