Job summary

Southwest Mobile Storage Inc. in Phoenix, AZ is seeking an experienced Welder to fabricate and repair storage containers and related structures.

You will work in our shop and on job sites, performing MIG welding and interpreting blueprints to meet project requirements. The ideal candidate has 2–5 years of welding and fabrication experience, can read drawings, operate power tools safely, and adhere to OSHA standards.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years welding, fabrication, or repair experience preferred.
• Experience with MIG welding and fabrication equipment.
• Ability to read measurements and blueprints.

Responsibilities

• Perform MIG (GMAW) welding to fabricate and repair containers.
• Read and interpret blueprints, measurements, work orders, and fabrication instructions.
• Operate welding and fabrication tools safely and efficiently.
• Inspect welds for quality and structural integrity.
• Follow safety procedures and OSHA standards.
• Coordinate with shop personnel and management on fabrication priorities.
