Job summary

Staffmark Group is seeking a MIG Welder in Archbold, OH. The role runs on the 1st shift, 7:00am to 3:30pm, Monday through Friday, with a production schedule fluctuating between 40 and 36 hours per week.

You will weld metal components using MIG processes, read blueprints, and work in a safety-focused environment. Applicants must have their own welding helmet and pass a welding test. Competitive weekly pay and benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• Must have own welding helmet.
• Must be able to pass a welding test prior to starting.
• Experience MIG welding on steel, stainless steel, aluminum, or other metals.
• Ability to read blueprints, welding symbols, and fabrication drawings.
• Knowledge of welding equipment setup, welding techniques, and safe operating procedures.

Responsibilities

• MIG weld scaffolding components.
• Operate manual or semi-automatic welding equipment to fuse metal segments.
• Remove rough spots from work pieces using grinders or scrapers.
• Chip or grind off excess weld, slag, or spatter.
• Weld components in flat, vertical, or overhead positions.
• Clamp, hold, tack-weld, heat-bend, or bolt components to required configurations.
