Job summary

SteveRecruiter, LLC is seeking a Fabrication Welder for 1st shift in the Greater Milwaukee area. The role requires MIG welding with crane and forklift operation, and reading engineering drawings to ensure fabrication to spec.

You will lay out, assemble, and MIG weld a variety of fabricated products, maintain ASME welding standards, and move materials using the overhead crane and forklift. This is a full-time, direct-hire position with full benefits.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of MIG welding experience required.
• 1+ year of crane and forklift operation experience required.
• Ability to read and work from engineering drawings.
• U.S. citizen or Green Card holder residing within 45 minutes of Greater Milwaukee area.

Responsibilities

• Lay out, assemble, and MIG weld a variety of fabricated products to specification.
• Read and work from engineering drawings to ensure accurate fabrication.
• Produce welds that meet ASME welding standards.
• Operate overhead crane and forklift for material handling and product movement throughout the facility.
