Job summary

The Recruiting Hive is seeking a Fabrication Welder for the 1st shift in Greater Milwaukee, WI. The role focuses on MIG welding of fabricated products to ASME standards, reading engineering drawings, and operating an overhead crane and forklift to move materials around a clean, well‑organized facility.

Ideal candidates have 1+ year MIG welding experience (carbon steel) and 1+ year crane/forklift operation, with a solid work history and eligibility to work in the U.S.

Qualifications

• 1+ year MIG welding experience required (carbon steel)
• 1+ year crane and forklift operation experience
• Ability to read and work from engineering drawings
• Solid, stable work history
• US citizen or Green Card holder within 45 minutes of Greater Milwaukee area

Responsibilities

• Layout, assemble, and MIG weld a variety of fabricated products to specification
• Read and work from engineering drawings to ensure accurate fabrication
• Produce welds that meet ASME welding standards
• Operate overhead crane and forklift for material handling and movement throughout the facility
