Job summary

Inventive Group in Mountain Home, Idaho is seeking a Welder to join our weld shop and produce high-quality welded parts for our products. This hands-on role involves daily rotation to build diverse skills while working with a team that upholds high standards and supports one another.

You will perform MIG/Gmaw welding, read blueprints, use Welding Procedure Specifications, and contribute to continuous improvement efforts.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of hands-on MIG welding experience in a production or manufacturing environment.
• Able to read blueprints and technical drawings and translate them into welds.

Responsibilities

• Perform MIG and Gmaw-P welding with daily rotation across the weld shop.
• Set up welding machines and follow Welding Procedure Specifications.
• Read and interpret blueprints and drawings to meet precise welding requirements.
• MIG weld steel and aluminum components to specification.
• Clamp, tack-weld, grind and fit component parts for welding.
• Sustain 6-S standards and perform routine machine maintenance.
