Job summary

Life Fitness / Hammer Strength in Owatonna, MN is seeking a MIG Welder on the 3rd shift. You will weld, grind, and repair welded assemblies to engineering standards, while upholding safety, quality, and productivity targets.

You will set up welding equipment, interpret blueprints and weld symbols, and ensure production rates are met. Overtime may be available and a competitive total rewards package is offered.

Qualifications

• 0–2 years of production welding experience.
• Knowledge of MIG welding equipment setup and operation.
• Ability to read, understand and follow safety procedures, work instructions, and production documentation in English.

Responsibilities

• Set up welding equipment, fixtures and parameters for each job.
• Perform welding, grinding and repair of welded assemblies on raw steel.
• Inspect welds for quality and structural integrity and produce weldments meeting production rates.
