Job summary

Wastequip is hiring a Welder for the Tyler, TX manufacturing operation. This full-time role requires MIG welding experience in a fast-paced setting, reading blueprints and using measuring tools. Shift is 2nd, with overtime potential and comprehensive benefits.

The ideal candidate will be able to stand for long periods, lift up to 50 lbs, and consistently produce quality welds on various assemblies. Prior fabrication experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Six months plus MIG welding experience preferred.
• Ability to read blueprints and measure parts accurately.

Responsibilities

• Positions parts in jigs or fixtures and tack welds as directed.
• Welds along vertical, horizontal, and overhead lines with MIG process.
• Reads blueprints, measures parts, and inspects bead size and quality.
• Maintains safety standards and keeps work area clean.
