Wastequip WRX in Louisville, KY is seeking an experienced MIG welder to join our production team. You will read blueprints, set up parts in jigs, and perform tack welds and final welds with steel, while maintaining strict quality and safety standards.

This role requires at least six months of MIG welding experience, the ability to pass a 2G test, and the skill to operate a Fanuc weld robot. We offer comprehensive benefits and competitive hourly pay.

Qualifications

• Pass a 2G MIG welding test with .045 wire.
• Six months MIG welding experience required.
• Able to read instructions and blueprints.

Responsibilities

• Position parts in jigs or clamps along layout marks.
• Tack welds and weld along lines.
• Connect regulator valve and adjust gas flow.
• Inspect welds for bead size and quality.
• Follow safety, production schedules and quality standards.
• Operate Fanuc weld robot and report issues.
