Job summary

Selectemp in Eugene, OR is hiring a MIG Welder to join a reputable manufacturer of large-scale heavy industrial equipment. Pay ranges from $22.00 to $29.00 per hour DOE; start date ASAP; $1,500 sign-on bonus after Temp-to-Hire conversion.

You will weld in flat, vertical, and overhead positions, read blueprints, operate grinders and cutting tools, and assist with material handling. This on-site role offers various shifts and benefits after permanent hire.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years welding experience
• Strong MIG welding skills with steel
• Ability to read blueprints and weld symbols
• Experience with heavy steel or fabricated components
• Comfort using common fabrication/shop tools
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and stay active
• Attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Dependable attendance and strong work ethic
• Overhead crane or forklift experience is a plus

Responsibilities
