Job description

Job Title: Mig Welder

Location/Region: Webster Groves, MO

Salary: $25+ / Hour (BOE)

Responsibilities:

• Fabricate and weld Black Iron and steel parts using MIG and TIG welding techniques
• Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to determine welding specifications
• Use basic hand and power tools to perform drilling, grinding, sanding, and cutting operations
• Fit-up and assemble metal parts according to design specifications
• Inspect and test welded structures and equipment to ensure they meet quality standards

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in aluminum and steel fabrication.
• Basic welding and fabrication skills, including mostly MIG welding but also some TIG welding, oxygen and acetylene torch, finish grinding and sanding, drilling and tapping, and band saw.
• Ability to read and work from blueprints and technical drawings.
• Good mechanical skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to pass a background check, drug screening, interview, and weld test.
