Job summary

CHASE Staffing is seeking a Maintenance Welder for a manufacturing facility in Temple, GA. The role offers full-time employment with a 6:00 AM–4:00 PM schedule, Monday through Friday, and occasional Saturdays.

Starting pay is $20 per hour, based on experience. The position requires welding experience in a manufacturing or maintenance setting, strong fabrication skills, and the ability to work independently and with a maintenance team.

Qualifications

• Welding experience in manufacturing, industrial, or maintenance environments.
• Experience with metal fabrication and equipment repair.
• Ability to produce strong, consistent welds.
• Ability to safely use welding, cutting, grinding and fabrication equipment.

Responsibilities

• Perform welding and fabrication repairs on manufacturing equipment and facility components.
• Diagnose damaged metal parts and determine repair methods.
• Cut, fit, weld and modify metal components as needed.
• Assist the maintenance team with equipment repairs and preventive maintenance.
• Inspect welds to ensure quality and safety standards.
• Safely operate welding equipment, grinders, torches, and hand/power tools.
• Follow facility safety procedures and maintain a clean work area.
• Complete additional maintenance duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Maintenance Welder – Manufacturing Facility

Location: Temple, GA

Responsibilities

• Perform welding and fabrication repairs on manufacturing equipment and facility components.
• Diagnose damaged metal parts and determine the appropriate repair method.
• Cut, fit, weld, and modify metal components as needed.
• Assist the maintenance team with equipment repairs and preventive maintenance.
• Inspect completed welds to ensure they meet quality and safety standards.
• Safely operate welding equipment, grinders, torches, hand tools, and power tools.
• Follow all facility safety procedures.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Complete additional maintenance duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Qualifications

• Previous welding experience in a manufacturing, industrial, or maintenance environment.
• Experience with metal fabrication and equipment repair.
• Ability to produce strong, consistent welds.
• Ability to safely use welding, cutting, grinding, and fabrication equipment.
• Mechanical aptitude and strong troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a maintenance team.
• Dependable attendance and reliable transportation.
• Availability to work occasional Saturdays as required.
• Must successfully complete a background check and drug screening.
• Steel-toed boots or shoes are required.
