Job summary

Express Employment Professionals in Tallapoosa is seeking MIG Welders with Structural Steel Fabrication Experience. You will weld structural steel components, read blueprints, and perform fabrication tasks. Candidates should have 2+ years of MIG welding and structural fabrication experience.

Shifts are 12 hours, Monday through Friday with Saturdays available. First shift 6:00am–6:00pm. Pay starts at 18.00+ per hour with potential weld test to qualify higher rates.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of MIG welding experience
• Minimum 2 years in structural steel fabrication
• Experience with MIG, stick and flux-core welding
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints

These candidates will be responsible for welding structural steel components, reading blueprints, and fabrication, This company is looking for candidates that have 2+ years experience with MIG Welding and Structural Steel Fabrication.

Responsibilities

• MIG Welding
• Read and understand blueprints
• Must have Mig, Stick, Flux-Core welding experience
• Knowledge of welding machines and gases
• Cutting and welding materials according to technical plans
• Welds produced must meet the standards

Requirements

• Must have 2 years of welding experience
• Must have a minimum of 2 years of Structural Steel Fabrication experience
• Must have experience with Mig, Stick, and Flux-core welding
• Knowledge of welding machines and gases
• Must have your own gear (Welding hood, gloves, sleeves, and steel-toe boots)
• Must be able to read and interpret blueprints
• Must be able to read a tape measure accurately
• Must be available to work 12-hour shift Monday - Friday and available to work Saturdays
