The role requires independent work and adherence to safety procedures. Work involves welding in multiple positions, operating various welding machines, and maintaining equipment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years MIG welding experience; pulse MIG welding and fabrication experience preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various body positions.
• Proficient in blueprint reading and basic math.
• Strong problem-solving skills and effective communication.

Responsibilities

• Read and build from blueprints to perform quality welds.
• Operate welding machines (manual wire feed, automatic) and adjust welding parameters as needed.
• Weld in multiple positions and perform inspections as required.
• Safely use hand, air, pneumatic, and power tools.
• Utilize cranes and hoists for various tasks.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and quality requirements.

Position

Swenson Spreader, LLC is seeking an experienced, skilled Welder to join our team. This position is intended for candidates with at least 2 years of hands‑on MIG welding experience in a manufacturing environment, not an entry‑level candidate. The ideal candidate can work independently, interpret blueprints, prepare metal parts, and produce high‑quality welds. Responsibilities include operating welding equipment, following all safety procedures, and maintaining equipment in good working condition.
