Job summary

US Tech Force is seeking a Welder – Fabricator with MIG or TIG welding experience. The ideal candidate will be responsible and dedicated with proven education and experience in welding.

This role requires the ability to work with minimal supervision and excellent time management skills. Responsibilities include fabricating handrails, frames, and other structural pieces per customer specs, analyzing drawings and specs, and inspecting welds with precision measuring tools.

Qualifications

• Experience with MIG and TIG welding is a bonus.
• Proven education and experience in welding.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision and manage time effectively.

Responsibilities

• Fit, fabricate, and weld handrails, frames, and other structural pieces according to customer specifications.
• Analyze drawings, blueprints, specs, sketches, work orders, and MSDS to plan layout, assembly, and welding operations.
• Check grooves, angles, or gap allowances using micrometers, calipers, and precision measuring instruments.
• Chip or grind off excess weld, slag, or spatter using hand scrapers, portable grinders, or arc-cutting equipment.
• Clamp, hold, tack-weld, heat-bend, grind or bolt component parts for welding.
• Clean or degrease parts using wire brushes, portable grinders, or chemical baths.

This position also requires the ability to work with minimal supervision all while possessing excellent time management skills.

• Fit, fabricate, and weld handrails, frames, and other structural pieces according to customer specifications
• Analyze engineering drawings, blueprints, specifications, sketches, work orders, and material safety data sheets to plan layout, assembly, and welding operations
• Check grooves, angles, or gap allowances, using micrometers, calipers, and precision measuring instruments
• Chip or grind off excess weld, slag, or spatter, using hand scrapers or power chippers, portable grinders, or arc-cutting equipment
• Clamp, hold, tack-weld, heat-bend, grind or bolt component parts to obtain required configurations and positions for welding
• Clean or degrease parts, using wire brushes, portable grinders, or chemical baths
