Spherion Staffing, LLC is seeking an experienced MIG Welder for our fabrication team in Georgia. You will weld mild steel and stainless components to precise drawings in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include fitting, tacking, welding, inspecting welds, and reading blueprints. Proficiency with measuring tools and fabrication equipment is required, with safety as a priority.

Qualifications

• 1-4 years MIG welding experience in a fabrication/manufacturing setting.
• Ability to read blueprints and tape measures accurately.
• Weld in multiple positions (flat, horizontal, vertical).
• Understand metal prep, weld settings, and heat control.

Job Summary

e are seeking an experienced MIG Welder to join our specialty fabrication team. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented welder who takes pride in producing high-quality, precision-fabricated components. You will work with mild steel, stainless, and custom assemblies in a fast-paced, production-driven environment.

Perform MIG welding on a variety of metal components according to blueprints, drawings, and fabrication specifications.

Working hours: 6:00 AM - 4:00 PM

Responsibilities

• Fit, tack, and weld assemblies with accuracy and consistency
• Operate fabrication equipment such as grinders, saws, torches, and measuring tools
• Inspect welds for quality, structural integrity, and adherence to shop standards
• Read and interpret blueprints, weld symbols, and fabrication drawings
• Work closely with supervisors and fabricators to meet daily production goals
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
• Follow all OSHA, shop safety, and PPE requirements
• Assist with additional fabrication tasks as needed (cutting, prepping, finishing)

• Standing, bending, and working on feet for extended periods
• Working in a fabrication shop environment with heat, noise, and metalwork
• Preferred Experience (Not Required) – Specialty or custom fabrication background
• Experience with MIG welding
