Job Description

In this role, you’ll be involved in welding and cutting metal sheets using a plasma table, working with materials ranging from 1/4" to 1/2" thick. You’ll also assist with machine operation, assembly, and general shop support.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform MIG welding (minimum 1 year experience required; trade school graduates welcome)
• Cut metal sheets using a plasma table
• Assist with setup, maintenance, and operation of machinery and tools
• Support the assembly and testing of parts and components
• Operate a forklift (training provided)
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment
• Conduct routine maintenance checks and report issues
• Help manage inventory and organize raw materials and parts
  
  

Required Skills & Qualifications

• At least 1 year of MIG welding experience
• Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and mechanical assembly
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints
• Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
• Good communication skills and a positive attitude
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks
• Comfortable standing, walking, and bending for extended periods
• Basic understanding of machine shop tools and safety protocols

Pay And Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $28.00/hr.
