Job summary

Randstad Staffing is partnering with a leading west metro playground manufacturer in Delano, MN to hire a skilled MIG Welder. You will read diagrams and blueprints to produce metal parts, while setting up and operating welding equipment.

Qualifications include MIG, TIG, aluminum welding, and at least 1 year of professional welding experience. The role offers day-one benefits and an ESOP-friendly environment, with competitive pay of $52,000–$62,000 per year.

Qualifications

• Welding experience with MIG, TIG, and related processes.
• Aluminum welding experience required; stainless steel experience preferred.
• Post-secondary certificate or vocational training is a plus.
• Must be able to pass internal AWS weld test.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret diagrams, sketches, and blueprints to produce metal products per specifications.
• Set up, operate, and maintain welding equipment.
• Assemble components in jigs or fixtures and ensure proper alignment.
• Weld in multiple positions and clean excess welds and spatter.
• Verify conformance of finished parts to specifications.

Responsibilities

Position Summary

Read and interpret diagrams, sketches, and blueprints to produce metal products according to customer and company specifications. Set up, operate, and maintain welding equipment.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Assemble components in jigs or fixtures
• Align parts or workpieces to ensure proper assembly
• Operate welding equipment in flat, horizontal, vertical, or overhead positions
• Clean excess weld, slag, and spatter
• Verify conformance of completed parts to specifications

Attributes
