Qualifications

  • Experience with open table welding preferred.
  • Excellent vision, including depth perception.

Responsibilities

  • MIG welding steel materials up to 1" thick.

Location: Milwaukee, WI

Shift: 1st Shift, 5:30 AM-3:30 PM, Monday-Friday

Pay Rate: $19.00-$27.00/hour (Based on Experience)

Your Role:

As a MIG Welder, you'll be responsible for:



  1. MIG welding steel materials up to 1" thick using .035 and .045 processes.

  2. Grinding materials to high finish standards.

  3. Reading blueprints and measurements to plan layouts and procedures.

  4. Setting up and aligning components to specifications.

  5. Ensuring finished products meet Canadian welding requirements and company standards.

  6. Maintaining a clean, safe, and positive work environment.


What You'll Need to Succeed:

  • Education: High School Diploma (welding degree or certification preferred).

  • Experience: 3-5 years of experience as a welder fitter in a fast-paced, heavy manufacturing setting, with open table experience.

  • Skills:

    • Proficient in MIG welding processes.

    • Strong blueprint reading and measurement skills.

    • Ability to use tools like calipers, rulers, and clamps.

    • Basic math skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office and iPad usage.



  • Physical Requirements:

    • Frequent standing, walking, bending, and lifting (up to 75 lbs).

    • Excellent vision abilities, including depth perception and color differentiation.
