Our client, manufacturing and fabrication operations is seeking MIG Welders to join their team. As a GMAW/MIG & RSW Welder, you will be part of the production team supporting early builds and validation efforts. The ideal candidate will bring technical know-how, a safety-first mindset, and a drive to improve quality through careful, accurate work.
Job Title: GMAW/MIG & RSW Welder
Location: Brookshire, TX (Greater Houston Area)
Pay Range: $24-25/hour
Shift: 5AM - 5PM or 5PM - 5AM
What's the Job?
Read, interpret, and follow basic blueprints, diagrams, engineering drawings, specifications, weld symbols, bills of materials, and other written instructions or procedures to accurately create equipment and products
Design and build basic and/or complex structures, supports, or framework to support daily execution
Weld using GMAW/MIG and RSW processes
Use handheld tools such as a handheld screw gun, drill gun, and grinders; operate calipers, weld gauges, tape measures, and other welding hand tools
Maintain inventory of manufacturing product and welding consumables; create specific weldment set-ups and fixturing to meet geometric requirements while performing all work in accordance with quality standards and established safety procedures
What's Needed?
1-3 years of Resistance Spot Welding (RSW) and MIG welding experience
1-3 years of experience operating in a similar capacity within a manufacturing or relatable facility
Ability to perform work accurately and thoroughly
Ability to find issues in a work process and respond to safety signals using sight, touch, and hearing
Strong command of the English language, both written and verbal; physical demands and abilities aligned to welding work; teamwork mindset and respect for teammates
