What You’ll Do

• Operate manual and semi‑automatic MIG and resistance welding processes.
• Weld in flat, vertical, and overhead positions; weld tubular products independently or with a partner.
• Prepare parts by clamping, tack‑welding, grinding, heat‑bending, and positioning components for accuracy.
• Remove slag, spatter, rough spots, or excess weld via grinders, chippers, and scrapers.
• Follow safe work habits and proper operation of welding and shop equipment at all times.

Experience & Education

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 3+ years of welding experience.

Physical Requirements

• Lift 50 lbs continuously without restrictions.
• Stand, walk, climb, bend, kneel, and twist frequently.
• Work indoors with exposure to hot, cold, humid, or wet conditions.
• Maintain hand‑eye coordination, depth perception, and fine finger dexterity.

Compensation

$20.00 per hour
