Job summary

Advance Services is hiring a Welder – Tig & Mig in Grand Island, NE. The role uses MIG and TIG welding certifications to weld pipes and other materials, read instructions, and inspect parts to meet quality standards.

This hands-on position requires safety focus, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently on the shop floor. Shift is 1st with hours 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, pay starting at $18 per hour depending on experience.

Qualifications

• MIG and TIG welding certifications and experience.
• Ability to read blueprints and welding procedures.
• Commitment to safety and quality standards.
• Ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Safely start, stop, and operate welding equipment without direct supervision.
• Set up, control, and adjust welding machine settings as needed.
• Perform MIG welding on pipes and other metal materials according to specifications.
• Read and follow work instructions, blueprints, and welding procedures.
• Inspect completed welds and parts to ensure quality standards are met.
• Identify and report defects, equipment issues, or safety concerns.
• Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean work area.
• Support production goals while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
