Job summary

Essential Personnel, Inc. is hiring a Welder in Grand Island, NE. The candidate should have MIG welding experience and read blueprints to meet welding specifications, while maintaining strong safety and quality standards.

Preferred is experience with pulse welding and robotic welding systems; candidates must be able to read plans, use inspection tools, and operate welding equipment safely. Weekend schedule availability is a plus.

Qualifications

• Experience with MIG and pulse welding processes (Robotic welding experience preferred)
• Basic understanding of blueprints, welding specifications, and work instructions
• Experience using inspection and measuring tools (calipers, weld gauges, tape measures)

Responsibilities

• Perform MIG and pulse welding on metal components according to specifications
• Operate and monitor robotic welding equipment to produce high-quality components
• Read and interpret blueprints to ensure parts are welded accurately
• Set up welding equipment, make necessary adjustments, and conduct daily maintenance
• Inspect completed work using precision tools to ensure quality standards are met
• Follow Welding Procedure Specifications (WPS) and all safety guidelines
