Job summary

Cryoindsolutions is seeking a Welder Level 2 to perform MIG and TIG welding on carbon steel and stainless steel with intermediate to advanced proficiency. The role requires reading complex blueprints, fabricating custom parts, and ensuring compliance with inKey standards.

Work will span shop and field environments with varied weld positions. The ideal candidate has 2+ years of welding experience, strong metallurgy knowledge, and the ability to verify dimensions while maintaining detailed records

Qualifications

• 2+ years of professional welding experience or equivalent technical training.
• Proficient in MIG and TIG on carbon and stainless steel.
• Familiarity with ASME and AWS welding standards preferred.
• Strong understanding of welding metallurgy and heat-affected zones.

Responsibilities

• Perform MIG and TIG welding on carbon steel and stainless steel to precise tolerances.
• Read and interpret fabrication drawings and weld symbols.
• Perform welds in flat, horizontal, vertical, and overhead positions.
• Conduct quality control checks, including dimensional verification and basic NDT preparation.
• Assist in developing jigs, fixtures, and process improvements.
• Maintain welder logs, repair records, and consumable usage documentation.
