Qualifications

• Proven experience as MIG & TIG welder with at least 5 years of experience.
• Experience using a variety of welding equipment/procedures on a variety of metals (TIG, MIG).
• Experience in using electrical or manual tools (saws, grinders, drills, etc.).
• Ability to read and interpret technical documents and drawings.
• Knowledge of measurements and basic math including fractions & decimals.
• Familiarity with shop safety standards and protective gear.

Responsibilities

• Operate a variety of welding equipment and follow weld procedures with efficiency and precision.
• Read prints and drawings with accuracy.
• Take and read measurements to plan layout and procedures.
• Determine appropriate welding equipment or method based on requirements and set up components accordingly.
• Operate angle grinders to prepare parts for welding.
• Align components using calipers, rulers, and clamp pieces; weld in various positions.
