Job summary

Fuse Fabrication in Mulberry, FL is seeking an experienced Fabrication and Press Brake Operator to join our 2nd shift team. You will use a press brake to bend, shape, and form sheet metal and plates per engineering drawings, ensuring tight tolerances and efficient production.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of fabrication and machine operation experience.
• Experience with sheet metal fabrication equipment and procedures.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and measurements.
• Knowledge of shop safety standards and PPE.
• Forklift and overhead crane experience preferred.
• Able to stand for long shifts and lift 50 lbs.
• Team player with commitment to overtime when needed.

Responsibilities

• Prioritize production runs to meet customer orders on time.
• Set up and operate press brake per drawings and parameters.
• Prepare dies, blades, and fixtures on the machine.
• Load/unload material and adjust machine programs.
• Reduce scrap by selecting appropriate sheet sizes.
• Inspect parts for conformance to specs.
• Maintain safety and cleanliness; perform routine maintenance.
