Job summary

Kids for the Future in California is seeking a Welder to join our team. You will fit and weld steel, aluminum and stainless steel parts using MIG, read blueprints, set up machines, and ensure quality while following safety rules.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years MIG/TIG welding experience.
• Ability to read tape measures, calipers, and gauges.
• Ability to read blueprints and welding symbols.
• Strong communication and mechanical aptitude.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.

Responsibilities

• Set up welding machines per job/spec.
• Read blueprints to determine welding requirements.
• MIG weld steel, aluminum, and stainless components.
• Inspect equipment and maintain function.
• Follow welding procedures and safety rules.
• Assemble items per supervisor's instructions.
• Prepare product for shipment and lift materials.
• Maintain cleanliness and maximize productivity.
