Skyline Products, Inc. is seeking a skilled MIG/TIG welder for our Colorado Springs facility. You will lay out and weld various frames, racks, and tanks, ensuring strong mechanical joints and quality finishes.

Proficiency in MIG and TIG processes, along with blueprint interpretation, is essential at this site. The role requires the ability to read technical drawings, operate standard shop tools, and adhere to safety standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 2+ years of MIG/TIG welding experience.
• Experience using electrical or manual tools (saws, squares, calipers, etc.).
• Ability to read and interpret technical documents and drawings.
• Knowledge of relative safety standards and willingness to use protective clothing (face-shield, gloves, etc.).
• 5+ years welding experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Training experience is a plus.
• Attention to detail.
• Exceptional communication and customer service skills.
• Strong work ethic.

Responsabilités

• Reading blueprints, drawings and taking measurements to plan and layout procedures.
• Set up components for welding according to specifications (e.g. cut material with powered saws to match measurements).
• Operate angle grinders to prepare the parts that must be welded.
• Align components using calipers, rulers, etc. and clamp pieces.
• Bolts, clamps, and tack-welds parts to secure in position for welding.
• Sets up equipment and welds parts, using MIG and TIG welding processes.
• Assembles parts by bolting and riveting.
• Test and inspect welded surfaces and structure to discover flaws.
• Aluminum Fabrication Skills.
