Donaldson's Baldwin, WI facility is hiring a MIG Welder for a 2nd shift (Mon-Thu, 3:15 p.m.–1:15 a.m.). You will set up and weld a variety of materials (steel, stainless, aluminum) and read prints to build assemblies. The role emphasizes precision welding, PAPR readiness, and strong teamwork in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Requires welding diploma or 6 months industrial weld experience.
• Pass blueprint reading test.
• Pass practical weld test.
• Must be able to MIG and TIG weld.
• May need to wear a Power Air Purified Respirator (PAPR).
• Fast-paced environment; ability to interact with plant staff; reliable attendance.

Responsibilities

• Set up and weld on a diversified line of standard and non-standard product per prints; materials include steel, stainless, aluminum.
• Fit and position weldments with multiple parts using fixtures and jigs.
• Work from prints and routings.
• Collect SPC data and interpret charts (TIG welding).
• Comply with DOT, HAZMAT and environmental policies.
• Wear designated PPE as required.
