MIG and TIG Welder needed for second shift

Location: Arlington, TX 76011

Pay Rate: $18-25/hr

Shift: 1st shift 6AM - 2:30PM w/ some OT

Employment Type: Temp to perm

Our client is a global award-winning fabrication manufacturer, helping businesses simplify and streamline their projects by offering a broad scope of domestic manufacturing capabilities. We are currently seeking skilled MIG and TIG Welders to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of welding techniques and be capable of working with various materials (metal, wood, and acrylic) to produce high-quality welds. This position requires attention to detail, adherence to safety protocols, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team in a climate-controlled warehouse/manufacturing environment.

Job responsibilities:

• Perform MIG and TIG welding on various materials (metal, wood, and acrylic), ensuring high-quality welds that meet specifications.
• Utilize power tools and equipment.
• Conduct thorough inspections of completed welds for quality assurance and compliance with industry standards.
• Collaborate with team members to build components according to engineering drawings and specifications.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety regulations at all times.

Qualifications:

• Professional MIG and TIG welding experience.
• Laser welding experience.
• Trade school education/certification required; relevant experience (10+ years) will be considered.
• Familiarity with various welding tools and equipment, including micrometers for precise measurements.
• Ability to operate power tools safely and effectively in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to troubleshoot welding issues.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
