The role involves MIG/TIG welding, aluminum welds, and finishing with a belt sander, while maintaining organized, safe work surroundings and adherence to shop standards.
Picture your day starting at 6:00 am on 1st shift and wrapping up at 2:30 pm, with overtime available when production ramps up. You gear up with PPE, review blueprints, and confirm weld symbols before setting up both manual and robotic welding operations. You’ll move between MIG/TIG stations and a robot cell, then freehand-weld aluminum parts and assemblies made from steel, stainless, and aluminum. A large belt sander helps you finish surfaces to spec. Throughout the day, you keep your area organized and safe, tape measure at the ready, and quality at the forefront.
1st shift 6 am- 2:30 pm; must be able to work overtime as needed.
Physical weld testing on-site must be acceptable.
