Job summary

Ben's Structural Fabrication, Inc. in Waite Park, MN is seeking a Structural Welder to join our fabrication team. You will fit steel parts, perform MIG welding, and help assemble beams, columns, and trusses for diverse projects.

The ideal candidate has MIG-pulse experience, able to pass a 2G weld test, reads blueprints, and works safely in a fast-paced shop environment. Schedule is Monday through Thursday, with occasional overtime on Fridays. No weekends; report to Waite Park shop.

Qualifications

• MIG welding experience with MIG-pulse technique.
• Able to pass Horizontal (2G) weld qualification test.
• Ability to read prints with weld symbols and specs.
• Reliable, self-motivated, team-oriented with good communication.
• Detail-oriented with ability to inspect material for quality.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Review shop drawings to determine weld requirements.
• Surface prep before and after welding.
• Set up and operate welding equipment.
• Conduct MIG-pulse welding in flat and horizontal positions.
• Frequent lifting of 50-100 lbs.
• Frequent use of overhead crane.
