Job summary

ECS Group of Companies is seeking a Midwest Strategic Recruiter to lead senior-level recruitment and to develop innovative strategies that attract top talent. The role focuses on building pipelines, engaging passive candidates, and partnering with hiring managers to deliver high-impact hires across the Midwest region.

The successful candidate will run full-cycle executive searches, provide market insights, and promote the firm’s culture and opportunities.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of strategic recruitment experience for senior or critical roles.
• Bachelor's degree in business or related field.
• If driving for ECS subsidiary, a valid driver's license is required.
• Strategic mindset with credibility with stakeholders at all levels.
• Proven success in executive-level recruitment and talent acquisition strategies.
• Experience in the A/E/C industry (Architecture, Engineering, Construction).
• Strong knowledge of industry trends, competitors, and emerging talent.
• Exceptional communication skills.
• Ability to navigate a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
• Ability to run full-cycle executive/strategic level searches.
• Dependable and reliable.

• Act as a brand ambassador, effectively promoting the firm's culture, values and career opportunities to prospective candidates.
• Conduct comprehensive interviews and assessments to evaluate candidates' skills and experience.
• Partner closely with hiring managers throughout the evaluation process to ensure a rigorous, inclusive and equitable selection experience.
• Lead offer negotiations and collaborate with internal teams to finalize employment terms.

What You'll Do

The Midwest Strategic Recruiter is a pivotal role responsible for developing and implementing innovative recruitment strategies to attract top talent and support the organization's growth objectives. This role will support our Midwest strategic recruitment initiatives by identifying, attracting, and securing critical senior-level talent.
