Job summary

HM Solutions Inc. is seeking an Area Manager to oversee onsite janitorial supervisors across client locations within its Midwest region. The Area Manager will direct operations and provide guidance for onsite staff at multiple client sites.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience cleaning commercial, industrial and office spaces.
• 1+ years of supervisory/leadership experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent interpersonal, customer service, organization, leadership and management skills.
• Excellent time management and analytical skills.
• Strong ability to use applicable software systems and navigate a smartphone and laptop.

Responsibilities

• Manage and direct onsite janitorial supervisors and team members daily activities at various onsite client locations
• Recruit, hire, train, develop, and evaluate the performance of personnel.
• Routinely inspects quality of service delivery
• Proactive customer communication, recommending additional services as needed.
• Prompt response to customer requests, projects, or complaints to ensure quality standards are met or exceeded.
• Frequent travel, including periodic extended or overnight travel, is necessary to observe operations or meet with team members or customers.
• Maintain inventory of supplies to avoid disruption of service.
• Evaluate, on a regular basis, the efficiency of business procedures according to organizational objectives and apply improvements
• Manage accounts according to budgetary requirements.
• Ensure team operates in compliance with federal, state, local, industry, contractual, and company regulations, standards, specifications, safety guidelines, and best practices.
• Ensure efficiency of the work team and adjust as necessary based on individual strengths
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
