Job summary

Koto in Los Angeles is seeking a curious, craft-driven designer to shape the visual expression of a globally recognized, AI-driven brand. You will craft typography, color systems, and digital experiences across campaigns, collaborating with senior designers and leadership.

You will contribute to evolving the brand identity, apply design systems, and explore new workflows and generative AI tools while maintaining exceptional craft.

Qualifications

• 4–6 years in a creative studio, agency, or design-led environment.
• Strong portfolio with brand identities and design systems.
• Proficient in typography, layout, and digital design principles.
• Curious about generative AI and new creative technologies.

Responsibilities

• Contribute ideas and collaborate with leadership to explore concepts.
• Create thoughtful design work across typography, color, composition, imagery, and visual systems.
• Translate direction into compelling design, experimenting and incorporating feedback.
• Apply and evolve brand identity across campaigns and digital touchpoints.
• Support presentations communicating design thinking and craft.
• Explore generative AI tools to inform ideation and execution.
