Job summary

Flowery in New York is seeking a retail associate to support daily cannabis store operations, engage customers, and manage profiles and payments at the POS. You will help create an inviting shopping experience and assist with promotions while staying compliant with privacy standards.

The role requires strong customer service and familiarity with cannabis products, with opportunities to assist deliveries and events. Equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• Retail sales experience preferred.
• Cannabis industry experience preferred.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality of customer information.

Responsibilities

• Perform store opening and closing procedures (such as cleaning, tablet placement/removal, and prepping workstations, opening and closing registers).
• Create an environment prioritizing customer interactions and provide excellent service.
• Check in, verify and/or create new customer profiles upon entry to the dispensary.
• Maintain confidentiality with customer information and interactions (on and off the clock).
• Manage the pace of customer traffic within the dispensary.
• Educate and assist customers in creating orders by providing product suggestions per physician recommendations and customer needs.
• Inform customers of current promotions or highlighted products.
• Create customer orders and accept payment at POS using the operating system.
• Stay up to date with company brands, products, policies and procedures.
• Assist in occasional deliveries (scheduled and discussed) and complete local deliveries via electric scooter.
• Provide marketing support as needed, including distributing flyers and storefront activations.
• Other duties as assigned by Manager

• Controlling the pace of customer traffic within the dispensary
• Educate and assist customers in creating orders by providing suggestions in regard to available products based on physician recommendations and specific customerneeds
• Informing customers of any current promotions or highlighted products
• Create customer orders and accept payment at POS using provided operating system
• Keep up to date with company brands, products, policies and procedures
• Budtenders will be to assist in occasional deliveries (scheduled and discussed ahead of time)
• Complete local deliveries via electric scooter
• Provide marketing support as needed, including but not limited to distributing flyers, assisting with storefront activations, and participating in brand collaboration events.
