Job summary

Crescent Energy invites an experienced Midstream Superintendent to lead daily operations across pipelines, storage, and SWD facilities from the Midland office. Qualifications

• Minimum of 15 years oilfield experience with 5+ years in supervisory roles.
• Experience in Permian Basin Production operations is a strong advantage.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering preferred; high school diploma required.
• Strong project management and leadership skills.
• Ability to coordinate with multiple teams and contractors.

• Oversee the safe and efficient operation of midstream infrastructure, including pipelines, gathering systems, storage facilities and SWD injection wells.
• Direct and manage field teams, including foremen, operators, and construction crews.
• Coordinate maintenance, repair, and improvement of midstream assets to ensure operational efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and internal policies; lead safety culture.
• Assist in development and maintenance of CAPEX/OPEX budgets while ensuring cost-effective resource allocation.
• Collaborate with engineering and construction teams on expansion projects and system modifications.
• Report regulatory filings and maintain accurate records of operations and incidents.

This position ensures that midstream operations are carried out safely, efficiently, and in compliance with industry regulations and company policies. The superintendent will also manage field personnel, contractors, and equipment, and play a key role in optimizing throughput and minimizing downtime. This position is assigned to the Midland office with an expectation of frequent and regular visits to the field operations in both Midland and Delaware basins.DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Operations Management: Oversee the safe and efficient operation of midstream infrastructure, including pipelines, storage facilities and saltwater disposalsDirect and manage field teams, including foremen, operators, and construction crews. Ensure proper training, performance evaluations, and adherence to safety protocolsMaintenance & Repairs: Coordinate and oversee the maintenance, repair, and improvement of midstream assets to ensure operational efficiency and minimize disruptionsSafety & Compliance: Ensure all operations comply with relevant safety regulations (e.g., OSHA, DOT), environmental standards, and internal company policies. Lead safety culture and enforce adherence to safety proceduresBudget Management: Support development and maintenance of capital (CAPEX) and operating (OPEX/LOE) budgets while ensuring cost-effective resource allocation while maintaining high standards of operational performanceCoordination: Collaborate with engineering and construction teams on expansion projects, upgrades, and system modifications. Oversee project schedules and contractor performance to ensure timely completionCommercial: Work closely with marketing/commercial team to assist in evaluating new business opportunities, expansions, and third-party agreementsRegulatory Reporting: Ensure timely submission of all regulatory and compliance reports, such as H-5 testing for SWDs and T-4 pipeline filings. Maintain accurate records of all operations, incidents, and safety activitiesAsset Optimization: Analyze operational data and trends to identify opportunities for increasing throughput, reducing operational costs, and improving overall system performanceEmergency Response: Lead response efforts during operational emergencies or incidents. Coordinate with internal teams and external agencies to manage crises effectivelyPerform typical responsibilities such as planning, evaluating, organizing, integrating and coaching. Work is reviewed to ensure competency in meeting stated goals and objectivesKNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor’s degree in engineering field preferredMinimum of 15 years oilfield experience including 5+ years of supervisory experience.
