Marathon Petroleum is seeking a Commercial Sourcing Advisor to support the Midstream unit. You will help formalize contracts with service and material providers, develop market insights, and drive total cost of ownership analyses to optimize supplier performance.

The role involves leading contracting efforts, evaluating proposals, and building strategic supplier relationships to minimize risk and deliver cost savings across MPLX COPL initiatives.

Qualifications

• Experience in developing contracting strategies and negotiating terms.
• Ability to analyze bids and apply total cost of ownership methods.
• Strong stakeholder management and supplier relationship skills.

Responsabilités

• Develops contracting strategies and manages relationships with key suppliers.
• Leads bid package development and aligns requirements across stakeholders.
• Negotiates terms and conditions of service and supply agreements.
• Performs data analysis and supports cost-saving initiatives.
• Advises on contract compliance and risk minimization for stakeholders.
• Acts as liaison between legal and business units to frame agreements.
