Job summary

Antero Resources Corporation is seeking an experienced engineer in Denver, CO, for a full-time, exempt role focused on pipeline and midstream infrastructure planning. You will guide capital projects, develop hydraulic models, and align solutions with company goals.

The position requires an ABET-accredited engineering degree and at least three years of related experience, with strong analytical and collaborative abilities to work across teams in a field-office setting.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with Project Managers and operations personnel to track cost metrics and schedules.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

General description of main/primary duties and responsibilities of the job, aptitude, level of complexity, span of control, autonomy, decision making and judgement. It is central and necessary to the satisfactory performance of the job. Includes the following and other duties as assigned.

Under limited supervision this position will:

• Apply fluid dynamic and thermodynamic principles to support planning processes with system capabilities.
• Develop, maintain, and utilize hydraulic models, capital and operating costs and other factors to develop engineering solutions in gas and water transportation.
• Collect and report capital budget, opex and fee performance metrics in support of economic analysis.
• Coordinate with Project Managers, operations personnel, planning team members, and other key stakeholders to track midstream project cost metrics and schedules, identify conflicts and support economic return analysis.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Job is performed in both the office and in the field work environment.
• Approximately 90% in the office and 10% in the field.

• Exposure to computer screens and requires regular use of a computer, keyboard, mouse, and multi-line telephone system.
• Extreme Cold and Heat: temperatures typically below 32 o F or above 100 o F for periods of more than one hour. Consideration should be given to the effect of other environmental conditions as wind, rain, snow, and humidity.
• Noise: there is sufficient noise to cause the worker to shout in order to be heard above ambient noise level.
• Vibration: exposure to oscillating movements of the extremities or whole body.
• Confined Space: work areas large enough for individual to enter, limited means of entry or exit, and not designed for continue occupancy.
