Western Midstream is seeking a Corporate Finance Intern for Summer 2027 in Texas. You will gain exposure to the midstream energy business and support the Corporate Planning team with budgeting, forecasting, and data analysis.

The role involves developing financial models, reporting, and presenting insights to executives, with coaching from senior team members and cross-functional collaboration across departments. Summer program runs ~10 weeks, with hybrid in-office/work-from-home schedule.

Qualifications

• Sophomore or Junior status in Fall 2026 with GPA 3.25+.
• Interest in finance, economics, analytics, or energy industry.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Self-motivated with demonstrated academic and extracurricular involvement.
• Strong skills in Excel and PowerPoint; experience with Oracle EPM, SAP, Power BI is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Support Corporate Planning activities including budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and long-range planning.
• Analyze financial and operational data to identify trends, risks, opportunities, and key drivers.
• Assist with development and enhancement of financial models, forecasting tools, and reporting processes.
• Participate in special projects on process improvement, reporting optimization, and strategic analysis.
• Prepare analyses, develop presentations, and present recommendations to management.
