Job summary

Loyola Medicine, part of Trinity Health, seeks clinically skilled pharmacists for full-time night shift roles in the Loyola Medicine Transport network near Chicago. You will deliver comprehensive pharmaceutical care, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and participate in education, research, and quality initiatives.

Ideal candidates hold a PharmD or equivalent, Illinois license, and residency experience, with ACLS/CPR and board certification preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required for eligibility to practice in Illinois.
• PharmD preferred for clinical leadership in pharmacy services.
• Illinois pharmacist license and relevant clinical residencies desirable.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive pharmaceutical care to designated service areas to achieve optimal patient outcomes and safety.
• Work as part of multidisciplinary teams to improve medication therapy management.
• Serve as drug information resource and participate in education, research and quality improvement activities.

What you’ll do:

• Clinical pharmacists provide comprehensive pharmaceutical care to designated service areas or patient populations to achieve optimal patient outcomes and safety. They function as members of multidisciplinary teams to improve medication therapy management. These positions act as drug information resources and their responsibilities include age-specific and/or disease specific consultative medication therapy evaluation, education, research and participation in quality improvement activities.

What you’ll need for this job:

• Bachelors Degree
• Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) preferred
• Residency: Pharmacy Practice - General (Preferred), Residency - Specialty(Preferred)
• 1-2 years of previous job-related experience
• Registered Pharmacist in the State of Illinois through the IDFPR website
• ACLS (Advanced Cardio Life Support Certified)
• Board Certified in Specialty Area
• CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation)

Pay Range: $ 99,000 to $163,000 per year

Actual compensation will fall within the range but may vary based on factors such as experience, qualifications, education, location, licensure, certification requirements, and comparisons to colleagues in similar roles.
