Job summary

ReVive Fiber in Spartanburg, SC is hiring for a Cutter Operator on the 3rd shift (midnight–8:00 AM). The role involves operating robots and cutters to achieve timely, quality cutting of blends, with responsibilities spanning equipment setup, blade changes, and routine maintenance.

Qualifications

• Capable of performing tasks including but not limited to working at heights and in confined spaces.
• Must be able to read, write and convey ideas.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs with adequate body flexibility

Responsibilities

• Operate robots, cutters and associated equipment to ensure timely and quality cutting of blends into blend boxes.
• Set robot discharge rate, cutter belt speed and diverter configurations for optimum settings.
• Change robot and cutter blades, vibrator pads, unchoking diverters and removing knots from rolls and belts.
• Perform routine servicing procedures for cutters and robots.
• Take direction from supervisor and complete assigned tasks.
• Recommend safety and production improvements and participate in team development.
• Keep the workplace clean and orderly and provide on‑the‑job training as needed.
