Responsabilités

• Operate robots, cutters and associated equipment to ensure timely and quality cutting of blends into blend boxes.
• Set robot discharge rate, cutter belt speed and diverter configurations for optimum settings.
• Change robot and cutter blades, vibrator pads, unchoking diverters and removing knots from rolls and belts.
• Perform routine servicing procedures for cutters and robots.
• Take direction from supervisor and complete assigned tasks.
• Recommend safety and production improvements and participate in team development.
• Keep the workplace clean and orderly and provide on‑the‑job training as needed.

Salary Range: $15.00 To $15.00 Hourly

3RD SHIFT - Start time = Midnight, end time = 8AM
Work location = 2650 Southport Road, Spartanburg, SC 29302

Description: Responsible for operation of robots, cutters and associated equipment to affect the timeliness and quality cutting of blends into blend boxes. This is accomplished by setting the robot discharge rate, cutter belt speed, diverter setups in the plant floor control panel to the most optimum settings for each grade. The operator should be skilled at changing the robot and cutter blades, vibrator pads, unchoking diverters and removing "knots" from all rolls and belts. The operator should be skilled at routine servicing procedures for cutters and robots.
